10 vegan dressings that will take your salad to the next level

Tasty salad dressings are an absolute must to make your veggies exciting – and to create different food experiences. Ready made dressings often contain more sugar than reasonable and after mastering your own they just don’t do the job.

But for me it has to be easy and quick to make a dressing. I don’t have the patience in my daily rutine to create fancy time-consuming dressings. So I gathered my 10 favorites that you can make in minutes. Enjoy.

1. Green tahini miracle

This dressing is my absolute favorite – and I use it on everything. But for salads it’s heaven. So let’s get to it.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (60 g) tahini
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
  • 1 or 2 garlic cloves (I love garlic, so I use 2)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 10 g fresh spinach leaves
  • Pebber to taste

Blend until it’s smooth and you can start pouring.

2. Vegan ceasar dressing

This vegan ceasar dressing comforts my cravings for the classic Caesar salad. Try it with tofu instead and this dressing on top.

  • 1/4 cup (60 g) plain hummus
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 3 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • A little salt and pepper
  • Taste with maple syrup

Mix ingredients in a bowl and add water to find the consistency you prefer.

3. Easy italien dressing

Use for light salad.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 tablespoon thyme
  • A little Himalayan salt
  • A little pebber

Put all ingredients in a bowl and whisk it well.

4. Avocado cream dream

Use it for salads – but also excellent for sweet potato fries.

  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 1 garlic clove

  • A little salt
  • A little pepper

Blend all ingredients and let it breath for a bit.

5. Dijon vinagrette

Mix it all and serve.

6. Cashew blend

This is creamy and works with both salads and rice or pasta.

  • 1 cup (60 g) fresh cilantro leaves
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce

This is great as a dip or a salad dressing.
